I’ve noticed recently a number of US retailers opening stores here in Canada. There is something they should know. We know who you are. A lot of our TV comes from the US. That means that we see your ads quite regularly. And our dollar has been near parity with yours for the better part of a decade. So know this: if your Canadian store prices are higher than your US store prices you can fuck right off. WE WILL KNOW.

Saw something the other day wondering why there are no openly gay characters on Star Trek.

I would like to think it’s because, by the 23rd century, people have developed enough common sense to just _be_ the sexuality they are and worry about the more important shit like who people actually are inside. Maybe they already stopped giving a shit about other people’s sexuality and stopped trying to make other people give a shit about theirs.

I already don’t give a shit about anyone’s sexuality, but then I’ve always been way ahead of my time.

Just got my Starbucks green level. Only took me 9 months to do it. That works out to slightly better than 1 coffee every 2 months.

In other news, I prefer Tim Hortons to Starbucks because it tastes better, isn’t ridiculously overpriced, and doesn’t make me phlegmy.
